About White Wools Dohne Merino
The Dohne Merino was developed in the late 1930’s by the South African Department of Agriculture by interbreeding Peppin-style Merino ewes and German Mutton Merino rams. They are known for their adaptability and are raised for both meat and wool production.
We believe that the Dohne industry should be the benchmark for all other breeds.
